Sinopsis

La familia Pteridaceae es una de las más diversas de helechos, contiene entre 44 y 53 géneros y entre 950 y 1211 especies en el mundo. En México está representada por 32 géneros y alrededor de 218 especies. En la región de estudio se registran 16 géneros y 88 especies. Los primeros son: Adiantum, Anogramma, Aleuritopteris, Argyrochosma, Aspidotis, Astrolepis, Bommeria, Cheilanthes, Cheiloplecton, Hemionitis, Llavea, Mildella, Notholaena, Pellaea, Pityrogramma y Pteris.
